Mandarin Hotel is one of the five stars hotel in Hong Kong that was built in 1963.The hotel is owned and managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Just only in four years in operation, Mandarin Hotel received a recognition from Fortune Magazine and place the Mandarin Hotel along with the Ritz in Paris, the Grand in Rome and the Connaught in London. It was placed among the best hotel in the world.
In the year 2005, Mandarin Hotel spent 150 millions US dollars to renovate all of 501 guestrooms, 10 restaurants and their Spa area. As the result of the big renovation, the Spa has been recognized as five stars spa in Hong Kong by Forbes magazine.
